When you hear Rae Hering’s music, you’ll understand why she calls her music Eclectic ArtPop: each song is unique, colorful and catchy. Drawing you in with her sophisticated melodic sense and textured, jazz-leaning voice, this multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter creates intelligent music that ranges from playful to melancholy to funky.

Since graduating from Belmont University with studies in piano and composition Rae has released three musical projects independently as well as her most recent release, “Closer to Me,” her first Christian-themed song. She’s active on Patreon where patrons can download the Song of the Month as well as take part in Patron-Only Live-Stream Shows. Many of these contributors have discovered Rae through Periscope where she has earned a Gold VIP Broadcaster status and is quickly building a following with her regular live-stream concerts of all-original music.

No matter if it’s an online show or an intimate house concert experience Rae captivates audiences with her stunning vocal abilities while moving between piano, guitar and accordion. From an early age her classical piano training fostered in her a comfort of the stage and a love of sharing music - this is evident in the energy she puts into each performance. Whether she’s grooving with a rhythm section or owning the stage as a solo act, she’ll mesmerize you with her engaging and often witty lyrics and dynamic stage presence.

Rae puts her skills to use off stage as well.  As an adaptable composer, Rae writes and records music for commercial spots including Singer Sewing Company and for films such as "Daddy's Little Girl" which made it to #1 on the iTunes Top Short Films Sales List.  As an active co-writer, she has applied skills unbarred by genre including the pop ballad "It's Alright" recorded by MCA Music (Philippines) artist Solenn and "Rock Paper Scissors" recorded by folk/americana artist Anne Buckle.  Rae can also be heard on session work for various artists in Nashville and is a versatile and experienced private music teacher.

Whether she's writing a new tune, recording in the studio or performing live, the driving forces behind Rae Hering’s music are to pursue the creative adventure and make a meaningful connection with her audience. No wonder anyone who experiences her unique artistry is left with a lasting impression.
